Chinese new year is on the the full moon day close to February 5.
new 1st full last new
"Week" corresponds to a moonphase, not a regular week. Each moon-month has 4 weeks: new to first quarter (waxing crescent), first quarter to full moon (waxing gibbeous), full to last quarter (waning crescent), last quarter to new moon (waning gibbeous).
In 2020 the first new moon is on January 24, but it depends on where you live. A day rotates around the earth, so your 25 may be when China is already on day 26, or maybe still on 24.
The new moon in 2020:
London: Jan. 24, between 9:41 PM.
Los Angeles Jan.24, 13:41 PM
Bejing Jan.25, 05:41 AM
So 25 is the official Chinese new year, but maybe not your own new-moon date.
