Hexagram Mirrors - Line Reflections
(line pathways)

Mirror group 21.6-51.6-22.1-52.1

About dealing with and living in reality

21.6 yang: Wherefore a cangue extinguishing the ears? Pitfall.
  Don't punish without lesson

51.6 yin: The shock is twining, twining, looking around in terror, terror. To set things right: pitfall. The shock does not reach oneself; it reaches one's neighbor, no fault. A marriage brings talk.
Many shocks are no disaster, just a lesson.

Lines 21.6 and 51.6 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Fire-Thunder and vv. Asking for different actions.

22.1 yang: Making one's feet flourish. Abandon cart and go on foot.
  Focus: make your own road.

52.1 yin: Stabilize one's toes. Without fault. Fruitful: everlasting determination.
  Focusing on your road

Lines 22.1 and 52.1 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Fire-Mountain and vv. Asking for different actions.

Lines 21.6 and 22.1 and also 51.6 and 52.1 are each others qianyao (upside-down). Here are similar actions but in different landscapes (complementary contexts).
What was up, outside or mental, is now down, inside or physical.

Mirror groups 21.6-51.6 and 47.1-58.1 are contrasts
(all yang lines of Mirror 21.6 are yin lines in Mirror 47.1 and vv)
Mirror 21.6 is about
Mirror 47.1 is about
