Guà Jìng - Yáo Ying

Hexagram Mirrors - Line Reflections
(line pathways)

Mirror group 21.5-25.5-22.2-26.2

About mending this or leaving it to universe.

21.5 yin: Biting dried-out meat. Achieving gold. Determination danger. No fault.
Actually solving or changing something tough. Danger but great reward.

25.5 yang: The illness of innocence. Do not use medicine, have joy.
Sometimes the best remedy is to let nature takes its course.

Lines 21.5 and 25.5 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Fire-Heaven and vv. Asking for different actions.

  22.2 yin: Flourishing in one's waiting-spell.
Don't kill time, make waiting part of life.

26.2 yang: The carriage loses the axle-strap.
It can be a blessing to be stopped.

Lines 22.2 and 26.2 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Fire-Heaven and vv. Asking for different actions.

Lines 21.5 and 22.2 and also 25.5 and 26.2 are each others qianyao (upside-down). Here are similar actions but in different landscapes (complementary contexts).
What was up, outside or mental, is now down, inside or physical.

Mirror groups 21.5-25.5 and 45.2-47.2 are contrasts
(all yang lines of Mirror 21.5 are yin lines in Mirror 45.2 and vv)
Mirror 21.5 is about mending this or leaving it to universe.
Mirror 45.2 is about using possibilities when they open up.
