Hexagram Mirrors - Line Reflections
(line pathways)

The mirror of 11.2-36.2-12.5-35.5

About accepting reality as a useful part of life.

11.2: Reckon with crop failure, avail of swiftly fording the Hé-river, leave not the distant behind and lose friends. One acquires honor by moving in the center.
Reckon with the worst-case scenario, and you will always come out better.

12.5 Relaxed obstruction. Great men auspicious. One's extinction, one's extinction, fasten it to bushy mulberry-trees.
A good no doesn't need a discussion, it needs strength and finality, both in the giving and the receiving.

35.5: Regrets go away. Losing, gaining, no worries. To proceed is auspicious. There will be harvest.
Accept things the way they happen and move on forward.

36.2: Hiding brightness. Injured in the left thigh. Use the strength of gelded horses. Auspicious.
Disaster awakens the powers you have. So don't sit down in despair but get up and use that power.

The theme of this mirror:

Mirrors 11.2 and 5.5 are complementary

(all yang lines of Mirror 5.5 are yin lines in Mirror 11.2 and vv)

Mirror 11.2 is about making a good use of misfortune.
Mirror 5.5 is about making a good use of a stagnant situation.
