Hexagram Mirrors - Line Reflections
(line pathways)

Mirror group 07.5-29.5

About adapting to the available roads

07.5 yin: There is game in the fields. Harvest: catching it. Words. Without fault. The eldest son leads the legion, the younger brother carts the corpse. Determination pitfall.
Open to chance and versatility. Grasp chances and don't let habit stifle you.

29.5 yang: The pit does not overfill. The earth-spirit is already calm. Without fault.
Know when to stop acting. No use to go beyond necessity.

Lines 07.5 and 29.5 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Earth-Water and vv. Asking for different (complementary) actions.

08.2 yin: The origin of standing by is inside. Determination auspicious.
No need to make them believe you are loyal by telling them, just be.

29.2 yang: The pit has risks. Seek small achievement.
In difficult circumstances be careful and don't expect too much.

Lines 08.2 and 29.2 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Earth-Water and vv. Asking for different (complementary) actions.

Lines 07.5 and 08.2 and also 29.2 and 29.5 are each others qianyao (upside-down). Here are similar actions but in different landscapes (complementary contexts).
What was up, outside or mental, is now down, inside or physical.

Mirror groups 07.5-29.5 and 13.5-30.5 are contrasts
(all yang lines of Mirror 07.5 are yin lines in Mirror 13.5 and vv)
Mirror 07.5 is about adapting to the available roads.
Mirror 13.5 is about showing who you are, following your road.
