  Line 2, 'lord' (like eg landlord, not especially nobility): other meanings are master, owner, host, person concerned, opinion. Probably close to (business-)relation, not just anyone. The ideogram looks like earth plus a lamp, but earth closely resembles scholar, which makes more sense.
  Line 3. 'Bent head' is usually translated with 'tattood forehead' or a similar meaning, a punishment for a crime.
  Lines 4 and 6: the character translated as 'alone' can also mean 'above average', 'excelling'.
